Still Waiting!

Hello, everyone! We are still waiting for our embassy date. We were hoping to find out this week but we didn't so maybe next week. We will let you know as soon as we have one. Then we will be off to Ethiopia! We will be in the country for about 10 days so we are very excited. My mom is coming to stay with the girls while we go pick up the boys so pray for her stamina with 4 very active little girls! We are very close to having all the money raised to go pick up the boys so we are very thankful to everyone and esp. to God who has been just amazing with providing for us. He is a good and gracious God whose name is most glorified in this process of our adoption.
Our church had a Big Boy Shower for us this past Tues. night and the boys are set with clothes and sports equipment. We were overwhelmed with everyone's gererosity and love for our family and for our new sons! Thank you Valley Bible Church!!!! We love you!!!!

Four New McConnells!!!!

Hello, everyone! Well, we received some unexpected but very exciting news on Tues. Our 3 boys Noah, Josiah, and Caleb went to court and became McConnells without us even knowing about it. Usually our agency gets the court date a couple of weeks before it happens and lets us know but for whatever reason(GOD HIMSELF) we didn't find out until after it happened. So now we just wait to hear what our embassy date is and then we are off to Ethiopia to pick them up. We think probably mid July. You can keep praying that we can finish raising the support by then. We just have a little bit more to go. But God has been so faithful so we are not worried!
You say 4 McConnells? Well, Ana our youngest became a McConnell today in court on her 2nd birthday! It was very exciting! Several of our friends were there and the girls birth great-grandparents were there also! We went to the park and rode the carousel in celebration. She just loves horses! Of course she BAA, BAAed like a lamb during the court hearing!!!!!

Just another day in the Life of the McConnell

Hello, everyone! Exciting things happening here. We received new pictures of the boys and the first one we have gotten of all three of them standing together. It was very cool to see them smiling and looking very healthy and happy. We are still waiting on the court date but it is kinda of good because we are still raising support for our tickets. We did receive a blessing on Sunday which covers one of our tickets so that was very encouraging.

Our carpet goes in today!!!!!!! Someone from the church has painted downstairs. The bathroom fixtures go in on Thurs. and the ceilings on Friday so hopefully we can start moving everything into the basement this weekend!! Yeah! Thank you Dave and his crew!!!!!!!!!

We sign the final court papers for Ana on Monday and then we will have a court date either the end of the week or that following week for sure. She will be Ariana "Ana" Marie Joy McConnell!!!!!!!!! We are very excited. All 4 of the girls last day of school is today!!!!!!!!
